I am an adult beginning Piano student who found this Music School on the web. Due to the high quality of the training here, I choose to travel 80 miles round trip once a week to attend Piano lessons, even though I have options closer to home.
The school director, Chris Marx, delivered on his promise to ensure that lessons are customized to my particular musical level and interests. Having had no prior musical training, within 3 weeks I was reading piano music and playing songs which I have always wanted to learn. As a late starter I had doubted my ability to learn to play or learn to read music. Yet through my experiences here, my doubts quickly faded as I found myself sitting at the piano playing music while reading the sheet music.
The positive inspiration which the staff provides is truly awesome!

Wow! The best thing about my kids spending time with Chris is that they are being mentored by a fun, funny, caring and committed man who is passionate about his calling in life. Kids need more role models like Chris! Oh, and they are also learning how to play piano!
Chris, you are an amazing teacher! How you rope Skylar in and keep him engaged is inspiring. You really have a way with your students. I appreciate your professionalism, but keep learning the piano fun. Thank you for rolling with him and taking his talent to the next level. I know he is learning the necessary skills to play just about any piece of music in any setting — whether that be a jazz or rock piece, a pop piece or something classical.
Lesson time is so fun! The kids come home immediately and start practicing. I know they are enjoying learning because I don’t have to ask them to practice, they do it on their own! Playing is becoming a way for them to relax and have fun. Because Chris helps.them pick songs that are on the radio now, they are always listening to music with a different ear now — searching for fun things to play.
Chris Marx is “awesmazing” piano teacher! He is fun cool and really super awesome at the piano. I love to play songs by Elton John and Billy Joel and Chris is really good at getting what songs you want to play. Put on a goofy hat and sign up for piano lessons with Chris!!

I’m 45 and decided to take up piano as a hobby…hoping to relieve a little stress. I made the mistake of purchasing a couple “Piano for Adults” books at a local music store. Big Mistake! Boring and just not exciting enough to keep my attention. After checking out a couple of your videos on Youtube, I decided to try your lessons. Excellent course coupled with the videos…Never boring! You sure showed how “Silent Night” can be played. Much appreciated also is the wonderful job of showing how the regular notes can be played as chords and the neat upgraded sheet music. You truly are an “amazing” piano teacher!!!
