NOW HIRING: Music Teachers

Help us inspire students with music to reach their full potential!

Instruments

We're currently hiring teachers on all instruments. However, we have a high demand for the following instruments:

  • Piano
  • Violin
  • Woodwinds - Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute
  • Drums
  • and all other instruments

Requirements

To be considered for Off the Wall's faculty, you must possess most of the following:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in music performance or education OR 1 year of teaching experience.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and instrumental skills.
  • Knowledge of a secondary instrument is a plus (piano, drums, strings, uke etc).
  • Vibrant, warm personality, energetic and a positive professional attitude.
  • Knowledge of various contemporary and traditional styles with strong reading skills.
  • Ability to teach beginner to advanced, young and old students. Comfortable around kids.
  • Excellent professional references.

Schedule

  • Demand depends on the instrument, from 1 - 4 days per week in the afternoons & evenings (2pm - 9pm)
  • Our school is growing, so there's definitely potential for additional days and other opportunities such as leading rock camps, ensembles and jams

Compensation

  • Depends on Experience

NOW HIRING: Onsite Administrative Coordinators

Can you help the school run smoothly and stay organized?

Description

Onsite administrative coordinators help make the school run smoothly. Everything from answering the phone, email, scheduling, checking inventory and supplies to helping coordinate and setup equipment for rehearsals and recitals.

Requirements

We are looking for onsite admins that possess the following:

  • - Excellent in person, email and over the phone customer service skills
  • - Attention to detail and ability to work in a noisy, distracting environment with headphones if necessary.
  • - Basic computer skills with apple products and google apps.
  • - Reliable transportation and good communication skills
  • - Passion for the performing arts
  • - Excellent time management, motivation and ability to work independently
  • - Experience with the following is helpful but not necessary:
    • - Video editing
    • - Digital photography
    • - Social media

Compensation

  • Depends on Experience
  • Paid Training

Schedule

  • We're have flexible full time and part-time positions available for the right candidates.
  • Regular holiday breaks off - Christmas / New Years / Spring Break, Thanksgiving
  • Some of our staff juggle a mix of teaching and administrative support. Lessons occur in the afternoons while administrative projects are completed in the mornings.
  • Our school is growing, so there's definitely potential for additional days and other opportunities.

NOW HIRING: Professional Cleaners

We're looking for a professional and reliable person to help us keep our after school music program clean and stocked with supplies.

Responsibilities once per week

  • Vacuuming and sweeping
  • Light bathroom cleaning
  • Restock paper towels, toilet paper, and paper cups
  • Wipe down tables, chairs, and windows
  • Recycling and Garbage emptied
  • Sanitize surfaces including piano keys & door knobs
  • Cleaning windows

All required cleaning supplies are available on site.

Schedule

  • Roughly 3 hours, once per week
  • Our ideal candidate can perform this job on Wednesdays or Thursdays, anytime between 9 AM - 1:30 PM. We do have some flexibility, however, but will give preference to candidates who can perform these duties during our ideal window.

Compensation

  • A combination of an hourly rate and music lesson trades if desired.
