Learn More About Our Camps:
We put a lot of effort into creating bands that are of similar skill levels so that all of our campers have a great experience.
If you have a younger camper that can focus well and has experience playing music, they may be able to participate, so please contact us and share more about their level of experience. Depending on their skill, we may be able to recommend a specific week that will ensure they have a good time.
For summer camp you don't need to be registered for any particular instrument. We just ask how much experience they have, if any, and which instruments they are interested in. We do offer one free lesson per family, and would love to have them come in and take a lesson or two on their preferred instrument. Taking lessons from now until camp would be perfect! They would have a lot more fun with a little confidence on their instrument. Similar to swimming, they would have more fun at the pool if its not their first or second day. We usually have kids switch up instruments anyway at camp so they're new at drums or singing or piano, but it really helps to have one instrument you're more comfortable finding notes on and moving your fingers on. We usually recommend piano because its a quicker learning curve. Drums have the quickest learning curve and then piano is second.
Guitar is one of the more challenging instruments and we generally recommend to save guitar for when they are older, usually around 10 years old. It's beneficial to gain confidence on piano/drums/singing first and then move on to more challenging instruments.
Let us know if we can help you get set up with the first free lesson.
If guitar, bass or violin are your primary instrument, please bring it with you to camp.
If your student has any allergies that we need to know about, please let us know.
- Cancellation of your camp session must occur within 2 weeks of your camp session.
Options for cancellation include:- Refund
